FieldCAD

Turn site photos into a 3D workspace that field and office teams can use together.

How it works

The problem

Traditionally, the flow of CAD designs has been one way -- from the back office out to the field. The folks in the field are not able to communicate back in this medium.

Engineering behind it

  • Turning modern 3D reconstruction models into a reliable production workflow
  • Scheduling and scaling GPU workloads inside the application so expensive compute is used efficiently

What it does

A tool that lets team members in the field reconstruct a space from a few pictures, propose plans, and communicate on-site conditions to the back office.

Core Capabilities

  • Photo-to-3D reconstruction: A handful of phone photos become a point cloud of the space—no scanner hardware required.
  • Parametric part library: Drop in cabinets, hoods, shelves, and other trade-specific parts sized against the surfaces you captured.
  • Survey, Place, Deliver workflow: A structured pipeline that takes a job from raw capture to a proposal the back office can act on.

Status

FieldCAD is in public beta at fieldcadapp.com. We're onboarding finish trades—cabinet installers and kitchen/bath crews first—to refine the capture-to-delivery workflow. If your team is tired of loose photos and wants one system for evidence, layout, and delivery, we'd love to hear from you.
